You can request a repeat prescription in a number of ways:
1. By fax
If you take medication on a long-term basis, you can ask for a repeat prescription by faxing us on 01494 680214.
2. In person
You can also call in and ask at reception. Your prescription will be available for you to pick up in two working days from the surgery or three working days from a nominated pharmacy (if you indicate one).
Please note we are unable to take requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone.
PLEASE ALLOW 48 HOURS TO COLLECT YOUR PRESCRIPTION FROM THE SURGERY AND ALLOW AT LEAST 72 HOURS IF YOU ARE COLLECTING FROM A CHEMIST (YOU MAY NEED TO ALLOW UP TO 48 HOURS FOR THE CHEMIST TO DISPENSE YOUR MEDICATION). PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT WORK WEEKENDS AND BANK HOLIDAYS
3. On-line using Patient Access
From 1st December 2013, Millbarn patients have been able to book appointments and order repeat prescriptions online.
If you are a patient at Millbarn Medical Centre and you wish to start using this service, you can create an account using this link www.patient.co.uk/access.
Once you have created your account, you can book one appointment at the practice. On the day of your appointment, please bring in proof of identification (passport or drivers licence & recent utility bill) and check in with the receptionist at the desk so that we can complete your account sign up registration. You will then have full access to Patient Access and be able to make all future appointments and repeat prescription requests on line.
Alternatively come in to reception with your proof of identification and complete the application process at the reception desk. You will not need an appointment to do this.
